Getting Involved

Would you like to join Whitecliffs Talking News?

Whitecliffs Talking News relies solely on volunteers.

We are always looking for new voices to read news items, features and other information. If you feel you have a clear reading voice, and you can make the local news sound interesting, then we would like to hear from you.

Do you have technical skills that could help Whitecliffs Talking News? We need people who have audio editing and presentation skills to produce weekly news editions. Experience with audio software such as Audacity and applications such as Voice Record Pro is ideal but guidance is always available.

Are you a budding News Gatherer? Whitecliffs Talking News needs local people who can spot interesting stories and items, to read to our listeners, from the many sources now accessible, both in print and online.

Like many voluntary organisations, Whitecliffs Talking News always needs volunteers to help with fundraising, social events, awareness campaigns and working with other like-minded bodies.

There is always plenty to do at Whitecliffs Talking News, so if you could feel you could help in any way please contact us now on

Thank you.
